I always wear a dark blue suit and am elegantly dressed for my wedding shows. You can also see this in my photos. If you wish for a different dress code for your wedding, we can discuss this during the booking process.

Yes. As long as the recordings do not disturb the flow of the show, you are welcome to film and photograph me. I also appreciate it if you share the recordings with me afterwards.

There is no minimum number of viewers for my wedding show, but a proper show atmosphere usually starts with 10-20 guests. The upper limit for my show is two to three hundred guests. For larger audiences, it then makes sense to also set up screens and broadcast me live on these so that all viewers have a good view of my magic and a beautiful experience.

As the name suggests, the spectators who help me in the show are indeed volunteers in this role. I would never force anyone onto the stage who does not want to be there. I am grateful to the volunteers who support me and treat them respectfully.

I fully understand that some guests may be skeptical about magic due to their religious beliefs or previous negative experiences with magicians. In my role as a magician, I always approach such concerns with the utmost sensitivity and respect.

There are mainly two reasons for skepticism: On one hand, magic may not be viewed favorably due to religious or personal beliefs. In such cases, it’s important for me to communicate that my magic does not claim to possess real magic. Instead, it’s about providing entertainment through clever tricks and illusions, and experiencing beautiful moments together with you and your guests.

On the other hand, skepticism can stem from past experiences where perhaps a magician did not deliver the expected quality or behaved rudely or disrespectfully. To these guests, I emphasize that my approach is to share joy with them, without placing myself above anyone. My goal is to create an atmosphere of excitement and wonder where everyone feels comfortable and included.

Although it rarely happens, I have enough experience dealing with such situations that I can always respond appropriately. If I sense that your guests do not wish to see magic, I naturally respect that and do not impose myself on anyone. It’s important to me that all guests at your celebration feel comfortable and respected.

I already do this in my wedding show. I think it’s beautiful when the bridal couple can be the center of attention at the finale of my show, and all guests have another chance to celebrate and cheer for them.

Therefore, the final effect of my magic show is an effect that makes it look as if the bridal couple is performing magic. The couple doesn’t need to prepare anything and will be just as surprised by the result as the rest of the audience.

For my close-up magic, I need nothing but friendly guests willing to be enchanted. 🙂 For a stage show, I need a performance area where all guests can see me. For large numbers of guests or loud events, it’s sensible for me to work with a microphone, which I bring myself. Any additional requirements can be discussed during the booking process.

No. I can perform under any lighting. It’s advisable for it to be bright enough for all guests to see clearly.

For smaller guest numbers up to 50, I don’t need a microphone during my show, so you don’t need to worry about a sound system. If I need a microphone for my show, we should discuss where I can connect it. Often, event locations have a sound system, or the DJ brings one, but if neither is available, you would need to provide a sound system for me.

I generally conduct my consultation calls over the phone. Once we start talking, I ask you to give me an overview of your planning and expectations of me. Once I fully understand what you’re looking for, I explain what I can offer you and at what price. You can ask me any questions that come to mind and decide after our conversation whether my offer suits you.

No. After my performance, I will send you an invoice, which you can pay via bank transfer within 14 days.

If your wedding unexpectedly cannot take place, I will first try to find an alternative date with you. If we manage that, no further costs will be incurred. If the date is canceled without replacement, the following conditions apply: You can cancel free of charge up to 90 days before the booked date. After that, 50% of the agreed fee is due for cancellation, and from 14 days before the date, 100%.

I generally plan for 30 minutes of preparation time. This means I usually arrive 45-60 minutes before my first magic activity to prepare. During the wedding celebration, the accompanying preparations then go much faster because I’ve already prepared the most important things upon my arrival.

No. I only use small amounts of smoke for my smoke effects, and the smoke is generated completely without fire. There is no danger.

My magic career began with a simple card trick that my cousin taught me at Christmas. I was hooked that day and taught myself more effects via the internet. During my studies, I showed them to my fellow students with more or less skill. Several years have passed since then, and now I regularly travel to weddings all over Germany to present my magic.

I had tendencies to be the class clown during my school days and enjoyed spreading good cheer. To be honest with myself, I probably enjoy being the center of attention more than others do. But that doesn’t mean I begrudge others their attention. In any case, magic fulfills both criteria and probably why it immediately brought me joy. Additionally, I like the fundamental idea behind every magic trick, namely that things that seem utterly impossible are actually possible. In life, as in magic, it’s often the assumption of impossibility that leads us astray.

I also enjoy being among people and am glad that I can pursue a profession that brings me joy.

The first magician who inspired me was Jeff McBride, with his charismatic, wild, and lively presentations. His effects are always big and very visual, which fascinated me at the beginning. Over time, my taste has changed, and I have developed a preference for less loud effects that convince me with a more pleasant and charming atmosphere. Both forms of magic have their right to exist, but I gain more joy from presentations with deep magical moments and beautiful stories than from loud effects with confetti, silk scarves, and sometimes even iPads. That’s why I took another magician as a role model early on. Namely Tommy Wonder, who unfortunately is no longer alive, but with his charming close-up magic has shaped my career as a wedding magician.

Every healthy person experiences stage fright when presenting something in front of others. A certain level of excitement is helpful and ensures that one does not become careless. However, once you’ve successfully mastered the same situation hundreds of times, the excitement decreases because you know you will be successful next time too. When I encounter new unfamiliar situations with my magic or introduce new effects into my program, I’m more excited than in well-known situations. Unfortunately, this cannot be changed, and the only way to reduce this excitement is to face the situations, prepare as best as possible, and perform with excitement. The best tip I can give on stage fright is to prepare so well for the situation that you can handle it even in an excited state and have backup solutions ready in case something goes wrong. If you do that, you will also be more relaxed within the situation.

I would advise them to learn some tricks and present them. Instead of constantly learning new tricks like most amateur magicians, I recommend improving the tricks you already know. I have written a detailed guide on how to become a magician here.
